About FilmFights

Filmfights.com is a website created in late 2003 for one purpose: To give independent filmmakers an outlet to hone their skills,  meet new people, and have an absolute blast doing it. Although it has gone through many iterations over the years, it’s been successful in this goal.

So how does it work you ask? Quite simple really! Twice a month a fight is posted, ranging in topics and requirements.  An average fight might look like this:

Fight:  Doggie!

Genre:  Funny

Time Limit:  3:00

Due Date:  __________ 1st

Requirements: A man must have a crazy adventure with his dog!

Once that’s posted, everyone makes a short film about a man and his dog and submits it on the due date. From there, everyone votes on which one they think is the best, and then a winner is crowned!
